When I didn't have my computer for a month I ended up playing some old games. Wind Waker being one of them.

I still think that it's one of the best looking games ever made. Love the style of the game and it doesn't hurt that it's a pretty fun game as well.

Probably will scrap later

Will quite possibly update/revamp this image in hopes of making it look better.

I'm watching someone play Wind Waker HD right now, and I can honestly say they've done nothing but improve the game. The art style is more crisp and enticing than ever before. Needless to say, I can't wait to see (and play) this particular fight. The texture of your piece blows me away. Also, your art takes me back to when I played on the GameCube years ago, and let me tell you, that kind of nostalgia is amazing. Wink/Razz

Thank you for creating such a gorgeous piece! Clap Hug

Thanks so much!

I really do like the HD release for sure. I still think that the bloom lighting is a little bit overdone ... but overall it looks really awesome : )

You're so welcome!

Oh yeah, I know what you're talking about. :) (Smile) Have you tried the Hero Mode yet? It's quite a bit of fun too. I'll admit that it kicks my butt every now and then. Sweating a little...

I'm sure you've heard this many times already, but this picture is... just perfect, really. :D It really captures all the epicness I remember from that boss fight.

If you don't mind me asking, what did you do to give it that bit of texture?
coreymill Featured By Owner Jul 1, 2014
Sorry for such a late reply, but it's just a texture overlayed in photoshop.

Alright, cool, thanks. I'm a Photoshop noob, so I'm trying to learn what I can from the professionals. :D (Big Grin) If you don't mind me asking, how long did it take you?

It was quite a long time ago that I drew this so I don't completely remember.

However, I sketched and inked the drawing traditionally on paper when the power was out. That probably took me a couple of hours.
Then I scanned in the drawing and colored it in PS which probably took a few hrs.
